I need to talk to some one but since there is nobody i will blog about it.

Yesterday I recieved my Proactiv!!! I really was disappointed with the amount it cost and the portions that i recieved. It was a total momey wasting experience but i going to try it out and pray that it works. So you will be hearing about it in a month since that is what got.

Well like I posted yesterday I am starting the Couch to 5K workout. My offical start will be Monday May 17 and I will workout three day a week. Mondays, Tuesday and Thurdays will be the days I run and there will probably be some cardio mixed in since there are some free days.

But I want to share the program with everyone if you wanted to try it.

The program is great – easy to get into, and I highly recommend using this podcasts(i didnt make it but I found it on A Question of Perspective posted by  Elisa Hebert who has done this workout also)– it’s so much easier than checking your watch or the treadmill time as you go.

The workouts below are roughly what I will be following.

There are tons of online support groups out there – forums and the like. There are also running groups and C25K clubs. I’m a solo exerciser, but you might want to check them out if you’re having trouble motivating.

Hello Every one

Well it been awhile since i posted here on Simply Trice... but i am back and ready to run a 5K. I know what you are thinking and yes I am crazy but this is something that I have been attempting for awhile now and I just never make it. From today on I will be following the Couch to 5k training and hopefully in the next eight weeks i will be running 3 miles.

So you ask why am I doing this? well for one I am a Sergeant in the Military and to tell you my little secret... "I really cant run at all" but that wont be for long. I also have high blood pressure and I hate to med so maybe an active workout regime will reduce this little problem.

Now I am looking for people to follow, join, coach, cheer and push me on in this journey.

Some of my favorite Sites to read is

A Question of Perspective- this is the site that I "borrow" my running podcast from... it tells you when to run and when to walk... its all timed and great for the new runner.

Ok, I know what you are saying. What is she talking about. Well I am broke this holiday season and I am mixed between weather i want to be festive or grumpy. I didn't plan to have crazy finances but it happen so I cant really celebrate the way I would like with my children. I think that is the main reason why I feel this way because i have two small children that wants and unfortunately I cant give. So my last couple of days have been crazy.

The day the kids ran away.....

On Sunday I was woke up by the worst three words" Where's the kids" and guess what? I didnt know. Like every Sunday I take a nap before my brother in-law goes to work so i can be awake with the kids. This Sunday after I went to sleep my son asked my brother in law if he who is 6, my daughter 4 and nephew 2 could go outside cause i was already out there.

Not checking to confirm he said yes and off went three small children out the door.

At 5 pm he comes into the room and was like "wheres the kids, they are not here", at this point I truly felt he was playing a bad joke because he was in his own panic once he saw me in the bed. At that moment I jumped up and ran out front no kids and then to the back where i noticed the back gate was open.

OK I was looking crazy, hair everywhere to find them down the alley playing with the neighbors kids. My daughter had on a pink ballerina tutu with yellow house shoes ridding a princes scooter. My son was on his scooter and my nephew was pushing a baby stroller around.

I really tought i had lost the kids and it scared the life out of me. They get on my nerves but when i could not find then i almost lost my mind.
